Description:

Florida Tile’s ceramic, porcelain, and stone tile products are in big demand. We have an immediate opening for a high-energy, experienced regional sales representative based in the Southwestern U.S. Candidates located in Texas, Arizona, or California are preferred. Nearby access to a major airport required. The regional sales representative will be based at an office in his/her home and travel throughout the Southwestern U.S. to maximize profitable sales by:

• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships with independent tile distributors;
• Introducing new products to our distributor customers, their dealer customers, contractors, architects, designers, and others involved in construction and remodeling;
• Advising our distributor customers and their dealer customers regarding display systems that will maximize sales of Florida Tile products;
• Developing specific job quotes;
• Maintaining price exception and specific job quote lists; and
• Coordinating the resolution of customer complaints.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years business-to-business sales experience, with some experience acquired in the floor coverings or building materials industries; ability to analyze and understand sales and margin data; availability for approximately 75% overnight travel; and self-sufficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
